Unblind (2024) | 4K AI Horror Short Film

A blind girl living under the control of her domineering mother discovers the dark truth about her true self and her family.

“Unblind” serves as an atmospheric introduction for the feature film script of the same name I’ve co-written with Tyll Zybura and Katti Jisuk Seo. Interested producers or studios can get in touch with us via DM or e-mail in the end credits of the film.

For this project, I wanted to push proprietary AI tools further toward cinematic storytelling. The film was made entirely with AI image, video, sound, and music tools. I used Midjourney V6.1 for AI image creation and Kling.ai V1.5 for AI video creation. The voices and many of the sound effects were generated in Elevenlabs. EpidemicSound provided Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata” performed by Mira Ma and additional sound effects; all other songs directly playing inside the film were created in Udio and Suno, even with some help from ElevenLabs. ChatGPT helped immensely with planning, brainstorming, proofreading, and constant collaboration.
